Colorado Mountain Club

An organization devoted to connecting those who love the Colorado Rockies or who study or seek recreation in them. The primary purposes of the club are to gather and disseminate information regarding the Colorado mountains in the areas of art, science, literature and recreation; to furnish facilities for the enjoyment and study of the mountains by the Club members and the public; and to advocate for the preservation of the alpine regions.  "Norm has a great style.  Her really keep the energy of the room up-people were cheering for each other during the live auction and the paddle raiser, and we raised more money than we ever have at the Backcountry Bash event.  He even helped us before the event to plan how the live auction should go and what items should be in it. We can't wait to work with him again at next year's Backcounty Bash!"

- Sarah Gorecki, Development Director, Colorado Mountain Club

Greenhouse Scholars

"Glass Half Full" ... a fabulous wine tasting event for Greenhouse Scholars featured a live auction conducted by Norm Silver.

Luxurious stays in Napa Valley and an expedition on a National Geographic Ship were top auction items.

"This was the first time our organization has ever held an auction as part of a fundraising event and we were unsure about what exactly we needed to do and how the evening might look.  Norm coached us through the whole process -- he answered the multitude of questions we had, helped us to develop the auction list and order, and even accompanied us on a walkthrough of the event space the week prior.  With his outstanding attention to detail, he made sure the auction set-up was the best it could possibly be.  Most importantly, Norm was dedicated to supporting our cause and a pleasure to work with.  His involvement certainly made our auction easier and far more successful."

“From start to finish, Norm worked with us to make our annual auction a success, and brought a number of great ideas and strategies to our planning committee.  Leading the auction with both sophistication and humor, Norm did a fantastic job getting the items moving and the crowd excited.  He provided ‘the whole package’ of auction services to our event, and we will gladly hire him in years to come.”
